Postcards From Spring Break: NYC (Day 5) Empire State Building

We hit the high point, then head for home.

On Friday, we did a quick visit to the Empire State Building, then pointed the car toward home.

We're back now. The kids are in school, and I'm off and running with The Patch.

What's left, I hope, are some vivid memories and a learning experience for our daughters. Travel does that. It helps you see the world, and America, from another point of view, meet people with different accents and perspectives and appreciate what we have at home.

What I'd love to see are other postcards—from you. Share your photos here, and tell us about your spring break adventure!

Charles Kuralt Quote of the Day

"It was so much fun to have the freedom to wander America, with no assignments. For 25 or 30 years I never had an assignment. These were all stories I wanted to do myself."
