Circa Does Wonderful Thing for GHS Class of 2013 Graduate

Storefront window dedicated to a dedicated high school employee and 2013 graduate of Geneva Community High School.

Circa, located at 123 Third St. in Geneva, did a very nice thing for a 2013 Geneva High School graduate.

Mackenzie Carroll has worked at the store for about a year. The owner, Christina Lambert, "has treated her like a member of the family since she started working at the store," says Mackenzie's dad, John Carroll.

This past Memorial Day weekend, Christina dedicated a window on her storefront facing Third street to Mackenzie  her graduation and her decision to attend the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

"She did all this as a wonderful surprise for Mackenzie and it shocked all of us when our family—who is in town for her graduation—went to see it." John said.

"This isn’t so much a story about my daughter, although she is wonderful, as it is about the connection that local merchants make to the community and how they give back to the community in so many ways," John said.

It's also a very thoughtful, touching and caring act by a member of the local business community, and another great example of why Geneva is such a great place to live and work.
