60 Cooked and Hundreds Enjoyed

Both sexes brought their "A" game to 30 Men vs. 30 Women Who Cooked

The men and the women brought their best to 30 Men vs. 30 Women Who Cook, a fundraiser on April 19 presented by the Geneva Chamber of Commerce to benefit the Geneva History Center, Geneva Lions Club and Rotary Club of Geneva.  Sixty local celebrity chefs volunteered their time and talent to create their favorite appetizer, side, entrée & dessert for the community.

In its 5th year, approximately 1,000 attendees tasted the samples and voted for a
“Peoples' Choice Award” in each of the four categories.  Winners were: Best Side – Dave Press (Asian Slaw) The Little Traveler; Best Appetizer – Rick Romano (Salmon Dip) Morgan Stanly; Best Entrée – Nick Ninedorf (Smoked Beef Brisket) Edward Jones and Best Dessert - Tami Miller (Snow Balls) Charles Miller Lawn & Snow.

To inspire creativity in the chefs, not only in their cooking, but also in their decorating, a Best of Show award was presented.  Matthew Hart, Hart Chiropractic not only brought smoothies to the event, roaming carrots and bananas came as well to help Hart take home this award.
