Pat Brady: Kane County Is Key to Republican Party; Burns Is Key to Kane County
Illinois Republican Party Chairman Pat Brady calls on Kane County Republican voters to support Kevin Burns.
To Kane County Republicans:
As the population in the Chicago area shifts to the west, a unified Republican Kane County organization is critical in our quest to remove the Chicago Democratic machine politicians who are destroying our state and mortgaging our children's future.
Fortunately, we have a highly qualified candidate running for Kane County Board chairman—Kevin Burns, the current Mayor of Geneva.

I have known Kevin since our family moved to Kane County twelve years ago. He is an outstanding Chief Executive who will fully represent our shared belief in limited government.
The Illinois Republican Party has made a lot of progress in the last two years. Republicans won Barack Obama’s old Senate seat. We have two statewide Republican office holders, five new Republican members of Congress, six additional Republican members in the state House of Representatives and two in the state Senate. In 2010, with a big boost from Kane County Republicans, Illinois Republicans ran the highest ranked “Victory” Get Out The Vote program in the country with two Victory Centers in Kane County. We are already in the process of rolling out a substantially more robust Victory program in 2012 in our quest to preserve our Congressional gains and, after 40 years, remove Speaker Mike Madigan from power.

Kane County is at the epicenter of our comeback strategy. To succeed, we as Kane County Republicans need to elect a new generation of leadership with an understanding that Kane County residents want solutions to our problems - not constant controversy. As Kane County Republicans and like-minded conservatives, electing Kevin Burns allows us to make a clean break from the bitter and divisive politics this county has endured the last 20 years.
Like most of you, I am a volunteer. I spend my free time promoting the Republican Party, candidates and ideals because they best represent the change we badly need. I respectfully do not believe it is in the best interests of the Illinois Republican Party or the Kane County Republican organization to have as our standard bearer a polarizing nominee who has spent the last 20 years in Springfield.
I ask that you please fully support Kevin and do whatever you can to help him win in the March 20 Republican Primary.
Sincerely,
Pat Brady
Chairman, Illinois Republican Party
