politics in parades.

I was at the Geneva swedish  days parade on sunday and i happened to notice that there was an increase in POLITICIANS there.MAINLY REPUBLICANS.I had a thought, lets keep the politics out of the parades, What do you all think.In an age where you can get that stuff just about anywhere, why does it have to be in parades where people come to ENJOY weather there on vacation or locals.ENOUGH IS ENOUGH, its garbage that these guys have to be everywhere.Most of the people i was setting around HATED THAT , its one thing for local mayors or councle people but its another thing for state and federal.lol crap after all  are these guys the ones who have got us in this mess in the first place.For me there is a time and place for politics and its NOT at family functions , its a POLITICAL FUNDRASORS not at PARADES .THANKS JEFF WALSMA .
