Love Halloween? Sign Up Now for Hayday, Dog Parade, Zombie Apocalypse

Oct. 26 events: Kids will love the annual Halloween Hayday, everybody loves the free Howl 'o Ween Dog Parade and anyone 10 or older will be appropriately terrified by the new Zombie Apocalypse.

There's no rest for the wicked, and there's no time like now to sign up for the trio of popular Oct. 26 Halloween-themed events hosted by the Geneva Park District.

Annual Halloween Hayday

Join the fun for the Geneva Park District’s annual Halloween Hayday from 1 o 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center3507 Kaneville Road, Geneva. The entire family will enjoy hay rides, children’s carnival games, cosmic cake walks, a costume contest, bounce houses and more!

Pre-registration cost is $5 per child ages 10 and under ($8 non-resident). At the door cost is $7 per child ages 10 and under ($10 non-resident). Adults receive free admission.

FREE! Howl ‘o Ween Dog Parade

Primp your pooch for Geneva Park District’s annual Howl ‘o Ween Dog Parade, beginning at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Peck Farm Park4038 Kaneville Road in Geneva. The parade begins promptly at 4 o'clock with line-up beginning at 3:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to best-dressed dogs and owners.

NEW! Zombie Apocalypse

From 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, experience a terrifying playground for the undead at Geneva Park District’s new Zombie Apocalypse.

According to reports, a destructive virus has hit Wheeler Park101 North St. in Geneva. Dodge zombies through a disorienting obstacle course complete with safe zones, complications, emergency supplies and special effects to reach the vaccination point.

Survivors will receive a delicious zombie vaccine. Hot chocolate and concessions will be available for sale. Plus, don’t miss 103.9 The Fox on site with music, give-a-ways and more.

Cost is $8 per person. Recommended for ages 10 and older. No pre-registration required.
