Send Your Kid to GHS With Some Pie Filling! (Or Drop Off Some Yams Your Ownself)

Geneva High School Social Studies National Honors Society is holding a food drive to help provide Thanksgiving dinners for people in need this holiday season.

The Geneva High School Social Studies National Honors Society is participating in a local food drive and are looking for community donations to help provide Thanksgiving dinners for people in need this holiday season.

High school students will be asked to bring in the items listed on the attached flyer to their social studies classrooms starting Wednesday, Nov. 13, and ending Thursday, Nov. 20. If you are interested in donating to this great cause you can send it with your student or drop off the donation in the main office.


A Few of the Needed Items


  • Roasting Pan
  • Box Stuffing
  • Box Instant Potatoes
  • Canned Green Beans
  • Chicken Broth
  • Canned Corn
  • Corn Bread
  • Canned Cranberry Sauce
  • Canned Fruit
  • Canned Cream Soup
  • Canned Yams, Sweet Potatoes
  • Corn Bread or Biscuit Mix
  • Pie Filling
  • Pie Pan
  • Freezer Bags for Leftovers
  • Laundry Baskets

Due by Thursday, Nov. 20, to the Geneva High School Main Office.
