Help GTV Students Win Safe-Driving Video Competition

"The great thing about this project is that the students get the opportunity to display their work to a national audience while also sending a very important message."

Geneva High School students are doing their part to discourage distracted driving by entering a teen video contest by “I Drive Safely.”

According to the website, the I Drive Safely “Watch Out Loud!” teen video contest is a chance for teens to get as creative as they can behind a video camera to educate their fellow teenage drivers about the importance of not driving distracted.

Television production teacher Jason Santo said three groups of Geneva High School students shot videos, and “Never Gets the Chance,” directed by senior Megan Rush, was voted on to be submitted for the national competition.
