Harrison Students Collect 400 Toys for SANTA Project

The collection drive is connected to the school's theme of caring during Red Ribbon Week.

Members of the Harrison Street Elementary School student council collected more than 400 new toys for the Send A New Toy to Appalachia (SANTA) Project.

The items, which included small non-electronic or battery operated toys, games, crayons, and books, were collected between Oct. 14 and 23.  The collection drive was connected to the school’s theme of caring during Red Ribbon Week.
