Fabyan Elementary Students Go For World Stacking Record
Sport stacking has been termed a "track meet for your hands at warp speed."
It will be cup crazy on Thursday, Nov. 14, as Fabyan Elementary School students join hundreds of thousands of participants in the eighth annual World Sport Stacking Association STACK UP, an event Guinness World Records terms the “World’s Largest Sport Stacking Event.”
Sport stacking has been termed a “track meet for your hands at warp speed.” It is an exciting sport where students "up stack" and "down stack" 12 specially designed cups called Speed Stacks in predetermined sequences as fast as they can.
Last year, 483,658 stackers from around the globe participated in the WSSA STACK UP. Sights are set on 500,000 stackers participating, and among those half-million people will be students at Fabyan Elementary School.
