Is your son or someone you know interested in Cub Scouts? Cub Scout Pack 138 at Western Ave will be hosting an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 11th at 6:15pm in the Western Avenue School Gym. We will have informational handouts regarding scouting and our pack plus a slide show of our pack showing all our various scouts and activities. After the informational meeting, you are invited to stay for our pack meeting at 7pm to meet some of our scouts and leaders and learn about our annual popcorn fundraiser. Our pack has exciting activities planned for the upcoming fall such as pack campouts and hikes, wooden turtle races and helping with the Geneva City Hall plant beds. We are an active pack with approximately 42 scouts and have scouts at each rank Tiger through 2nd year Webelos. The goal of Scouting is to have fun while learning positive values and skills that will last a lifetime. Cub Scouts is open to all boys in First through Fifth Grades for the 2012-2013 school year.
