Bra Fitting Fundraiser to Benefit Cancer Research

She She lingerie store at 17 S. Third Street in Geneva, IL will host a Bra Fitting Fundraiser on October 11, 2011.  From 9:00am – 5:00pm on Tuesday, October 11, the trained staff at She She will measure women for their correct bra size and help them identify the best bra style for their needs.  In addition, Julie Naylor Gottlieb, territory manager for Amoena, a worldwide leader in after breast surgery (mastectomy and lumpectomy) bras, will be on hand to answer questions about Amoena’s full line of post-breast-surgery products, including bras, breast forms, and swimwear.  A percentage of sales that day will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

She She’s bra fitting clinics are popular, so appointments are recommended and can be scheduled for the Bra Fitting Fundraiser or any other day by calling the store:  630-232-0933.

We all know how important it is to have a good-fitting bra—and how difficult it can be to find one. That's because most women are unaware that their bra size has changed.  According to Denise Harshbarger, manager and buyer for She She, “Even if you think you know your size, our bodies shift without us knowing it with the slightest fluctuations in weight can make a difference.  It’s important to recheck you size every couple of years---or even better, every six months.”

All She She fitters are expertly trained and knowledgeable of post surgery bras and products and are capable of assisting customers with their individual needs.  The staff boasts a combined 35+ years of bra fitting experience and proudly employs two ABC Certified Fitters (ABC=American Board of Certification of Orthotics and Prosthetics), which requires staff members to complete 500 hours of fittings each year as well as regularly attend fitting seminars and other forms of ongoing education.

The store itself also obtained its ABC Certification for Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2009.  She She is pleased to accommodate our after surgery patients’ needs by filing Medicare and Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO on-site and can offer assistance with other insurance filing for coverage of prosthesis and bras.
