AID Pie Baking Competition

Kick off the summer with a good old fashioned pie baking competition. 27 bakers came out last year to help raise funds and awareness for the Association for Individual Development and to put their culinary talents on display for a chance at some great prizes.   This year's event is set to be an even better time. Nationally renowned pastry chef Gale Gand will be on hand to sign copies of her books and to judge this year's competition. Bakers of all skill levels are welcome to submit their best dessert pie(s) into the competition. There is a $10 entry fee per pie submitted.

Downtown Geneva's picturesque French Market provides a wonderful setting for this great summertime event. Pies can be dropped of between 11 am and noon with judging beginning promptly at noon.

Start baking those pies now to come up with the perfect recipe, the winning baker(s) will receive $150. Other great prizes will be awarded to 2nd and 3rd place pies. For more information and a complete listing of all pie competition rules visit us online at www.the-association.org.
