JULY 1, 2013, CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - Women's Innovation Network - WIN will hold its third annual Summer Retreat for women entrepreneurs from July 16 – 19, 2013.

The WIN Summer Retreat will take place at the Herrington Inn and Spa in Geneva, Illinois, with offsite sessions held at woman-owned Geneva shops Moveable Feast, The Sugar Path, and Strut. Retreat attendees will participate in educational sessions on topics ranging from Magic Marketing, to Personal and Business Growth, and Thinking Big. In addition, the Retreat will provide social activities such as a Geneva Chocolate Tour, a private showing and luncheon with a fashion designer, a coffee and cupcakes presentation, and the famous afternoon tea at the Herrington.


 


Retreat speakers include local business stars such as WIN Member and Hall of WINners Inductee Michelle Adams of The Sugar Path, Elene Cafasso of Enerpace Executive Coaching, Judie Dziezak of Dziezak Law Firm, and Krista Andersen of FreshGround Roasting.


 


In addition, the Retreat will feature an event free of charge to Retreat attendees and non-attendees: a WIN Innovation Circle on Friday, July 19, from 8 – 10 am, at Moveable Feast, 321 Franklin, in Geneva, owned by WIN Member and Hall of WINners Inductee Monique Wallace. The speaker will be Valerie Wilson Reed of ValCooks Aprons, as seen on Home Shopping Network. Guests will enjoy business education, connection, and breakfast. WIN holds an Innovation Circle on the third Friday of every month, at rotating locations.


 


WIN has selected Northern Illinois Food Bank, of Geneva, as the Retreat’s philanthropy partner. Retreat attendees will have the opportunity to learn about and support the organization, the mission of which is to be a leader in solving hunger in the area by providing nutritious meals to those in need through innovative programs and partnerships.
