Scandinavian "Cottages in the Woods" 5th Annual Holiday Crafts Sale

A dozen Scandinavian charming cottages open their doors to you at Geneva, IL's Good Templar Park Saturday and Sunday November 16th and 17th to experience Scandinavian Crafts- Food, Folklore and Fun! Artists, many who are skilled at Scandinavian crafts such as Tole Painting, Dalamaling, Dala Horse Carving, Swedish Water Color just to name a few will be demonstrating and selling their crafts inside the cute cottages on the wooded grounds. Santa Lucia in costume will be sharing her Swedish Christmas legend at the Christmas Cottage, and Tomte ( Swedish Santa ) will roam the grounds and greet visitors. Hot lunch in the Ligonberry Café and Swedish Bakery and Jule Brew will please hungry guests and shoppers. A one of a kind adventure of the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of Scandinavia.  A fun day for families or a gathering of girlfriends! $5.00 admission charge.
