Can you imagine being involved in
saving the lives of over 400 people? When
your friend, Sam Hill donated blood for the first time, he probably had no idea
that his 139 donations would impact so many lives. Because a single blood donation can be divided
into 3 parts, Sam’s donations have potentially saved over 400 people!
To honor his dedication and commitment, Heartland
Blood Centers has nominated him for the “Thank You from the Heart” program
and we will be sharing his story to highlight the importance of blood
donation. On Monday, June 10th, Heartland
Blood Centers is asking that you share your Warm Heart by making a blood donation to
celebrate Sam’s achievement at Heartland’s Geneva Donor Center. It is located at 2000 W. State Street and the
center hours are 11:30 am – 7:00 pm. Also, any successful donor will be receiving
$7 in Oberweis purchases compliments of Heartland Blood Centers!
In addition, Sam will be receiving Heartland
Blood Centers Golden Heart award at a
corporate recognition event on July 30th and everyone who donates blood at the Geneva
Center on June 10th, in his behalf will receive a special invitation. Please consider honoring Sam and in the
process create your own legacy of life saving donations!
