CLUB MEETS FEB. 11
Help Assemble “Socks
of Love” for Lazarus House
Geneva Women’s Club (GWC), formerly Mothers Club of Geneva, will
hold its February General Meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Geneva Public
Library, 127 James St. Women from the greater Fox Valley area are invited to
attend and learn more about the group and participate in volunteer efforts.

Attendees will be assembling “Socks of Love” to benefit Lazarus House, a charitable organization
in St. Charles serving the homeless and those at risk of homelessness. Help
fill socks with toiletries and other necessities. If you’d like to participate
and are able, please bring any of the following to the meeting:
- New pairs of men's, women’s and children’s socks
- Mini flashlights
- Lip balm
- Brushes and combs
- Toothpaste
- Nail Polish and emery boards
- Nail clippers
Geneva Women’s Club, a not-for-profit philanthropic women’s
organization founded in 1940, is dedicated to improving the lives of women,
children and families in the Fox Valley area. While supporting the community,
the club offers members volunteer and leadership opportunities through
fundraising, community outreach and social events. Membership is open to any
woman interested in making friends while making a difference. For more
