Community Corner

Geneva Church to Host Affordable Care Act Enrollment Event

On Sat., Nov. 23, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.,
counselors and navigators from VNA Health and the Campaign for Better
Healthcare will be on-site at the Unitarian Universalist Society of
Geneva to provide one-on-one help with the Affordable Care Act sign-up
process. The church is located at 110 S. 2nd Street in downtown Geneva.

If you, your family, or your friends need help understanding the
alternative insurance plans, costs, and subsidies available from “Obama
Care,” this is a wonderful opportunity to get personalized help from
trained counselors who can guide you step-by-step through the online
healthcare insurance sign-up process.

Sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva and the
Fox Valley Initiative, this event is free and open to everyone. English-
and Spanish-speaking counselors will be available.

To register and reserve an appointment time, please send an email with your name and phone number to healthcare@uusg.org or contact the church office at 630-232-2350 by Saturday, November 16.

Counselors will call registered attendees the week before the event
to explain the information that you will need to bring and to answer
questions.
