Geneva Art Guild Studio Tour

Tickets are now on sale for the Greater Geneva Art Guild’s Studio Tour, which will promote a weekend full of art and culture in the community.

 

The 2013 Art Studio Tour will be held Friday through Sunday, Sept. 13 to 15.  The event will showcase the talents of more than 30 area artists and will feature nine working studios. Patrons will be able to observe the work of painters, potters, fiber artists, jewelers, sculptors, metalworkers and woodworkers. Artists will be giving demonstrations during the tour, and all artwork will be available for purchase.

Studio tour times are 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 and noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 15. Tickets are $10 and include a $10 gift certificate that can be used towards the purchase of an art piece during the 2013 Studio Tour. Tickets are available at the Art Box, Circa, Crystal Life, Down to Earth Pottery, Gallery 28, Geneva Ace Hardware, Gibby’s Wine Den, Needle Things and online at www.genevaartguild.com.

People can also meet the artists as part of the Art Guild’s first Arty Party from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 14 at the Geneva Golf Club, 831 South St. Tickets for the party, which benefits the Geneva Art Guild, are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and include light refreshments, live music, and a silent auction and raffle.
