FREE Trees of Illinois Exhibit

Discover the Trees of Illinois!

Did you know a single tree can provide over $273 in environmental benefits each year?

Learn about the importance of trees at Peck Farm Park's FREE winter exhibit, Trees of Illinois. Discover the hidden life of trees, the benefits they provide in our own backyards, and a variety of different products made from trees in this all-ages interactive exhibit located in the Orientation Barn. Create your very own tree craft to take home, and see how Geneva Park District utilized trees in its new Hawks Hollow Nature Playground.

As part of this exhibit, Peck Farm Park will show three FREE Saturday Morning Movies at 11 a.m. in the Orientation Barn. See:
  • Bill Nye the Science Guy: Forests, January 18
  • National Geographic's Climbing Redwood Giants, January 25
  • Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, February 1.
This educational exhibit is open to the public through February 21, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Group field trips are available. Please call (630) 262-8244 or visit www.genevaparks.org for more information.
