Community Corner

Donations for Washington IL

Please join us in helping the community of Washington, IL recover from last Sunday’s tornados.
As we all know this area was hit very hard and destroyed the homes of thousands, now it’s our time to come together and help!!
So we have 3 vans set to head to Washington IL. We have a family with a house that was spared major damage in the heart of the disaster zone that has volunteered to be the drop off and distribution center for our goods. The vans will also have volunteers to assist in the distribution. This is our way of quickly, with no politics or middlemen,  getting the items quickly to the victims of this disaster.
Items needed include water, first aid items, personal safety gear, cleaning items, children and baby items, pet needs, flashlights, batteries, empty gas cans and gas cards, clothing, hats, coats, gloves, blankets, non-perishable food, housewares and toiletries as well as plastic totes for transport of new items as well as to aid in the removal and storage of their personal items.
Drop- off locations are as follows;
Alley 64 - 212 West Main Street, St Charles IL
BoxCar Restaurant - 500 South 3rd Street #141, Geneva IL
The Dam Bar and Grill - 65 North River Lane, Geneva, IL
We will accept donations until 2:00pm this Saturday then the trucks hit the road.
As needed,  I will update here as well as the Facebook page of  The Dam Bar and Grill, Alley 64 and Boxcar.
