Documentary Exploring the NSA and Edward Snowden To Be Shown at Geneva Church

The documentary “United States of Secrets” will be shown at 7 p.m. on Fri., July 25 at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Geneva. The church is located at 110 S. 2nd Street in downtown Geneva.

How did the NSA get access to such a tremendous cache of data? Was the government the only intended user of the information? Is Edward Snowden a traitor or a hero?

These issues and others will be the focus of the movie and the discussion in the UUSG Common Room. Our special guests will be Gail and George Tattersfield, whose niece, filmmaker Laura Poitras, was the first person to take Snowden seriously.
