Discourse on: Suffering and the God of Love

Suffering & the God of Love-
Finding Christian Meaning
in Human Struggles

Wednesday, August 6, 7:00 PM, Seton Hall

Fr. Ken Wasilewski, S.T.L., Ethicist of the Diocese of Rockford, will present a lecture on suffering. What makes the Christian approach to suffering differen from the rest of the world? Why is it Christians can be filled with hope, even in the midst of their own trials?

This discussion will explore the Christian view of redemptive
suffering based on Pope St. John Paul II's Apostolic Letter
"Salvifici Doloris" (salvific suffering). St. Peter Church is located at 1891 Kaneville Rd. Geneva, IL.  Questions can be directed to the parish center, 630-232-0124. All are welcome. There is no charge to attend.
