Dennis Anderson is a Democratic Candidate for U.S. Congress in District 14. Remember to cast your vote on March 18th.

As we head toward the March 18th primary, Dennis Anderson continues to pick up key endorsements, including the Illinois AFL-CIO, the Illinois Federation of Teachers, Citizen Action Illinois, the Northside Democracy for America, and the Daily Herald.

According to the Herald, Anderson has a “a rare depth of knowledge on a wealth of issues, and his views are generally moderate: abortion should be legal but rare; cut defense spending rather than Medicare; make limited restrictions to gun ownership.”

The Herald goes on to say they believe that Anderson can “ ... rise above partisanship to work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle” and “represents the best mix of independence, familiarity with the issues and ability to work effectively in Congress.”

This is good to hear. You have my vote. I hope enough Dems are aggravated enough by Hultgren to come out in force in November ... so let's get the right person on the ballot to face Hultgren.

Right ... Mike would prefer someone who voted for the government shutdown, votes against women's rights, is owned by the big banks and sponsored a bill to spend millions of our taxpayer dollars on teaching sexual abstinence.
