The Couple Who Does Yoga Together Has a Better Valentine's Day

Patch debuts Great Escape today. Great Escape will give you ideas of how to spend time on yourself—not the kids or your long to-do list. Look for Great Escape every Wednesday afternoon and think of it as an alternative to running away with the circus.

According to the Gallup Poll, Americans were, on average, happier and less stressed in 2010 than they were in 2009. What do you say? The survey didn’t ask you? Moms who feel like it's still 2009 can take their man to Tranquility Day Spa & Wellness Center in St. Charles Saturday for a special way to ease into their Valentine’s Day celebration.

Tranquility is offering its two-hour Yoga of Love workshop designed especially for couples who are looking for a different way to spend some quality time together. The workshop is a gentle class open to everyone, whether you have taken yoga before or have never attempted the lotus position. The session will focus on gentle poses that increase energy, relax the central nervous system and promote feelings of peace, well-being and harmony. You and your man will face the world with renewed spirits after the 90-minute class. The cost is $40 per couple.
