Introducing Betty—She's a Cutie, and She's Available

DePaw University in Geneva has some very cute animals available for adoption.

Hey, I'm neutered, but I'm not dead.

I know a good-looking dog when I see one, and let me tell you, Betty is a knockout.

She's also available.

I know this because I hang out a lot at . Being a bright, handsome and athletic specimen, I feel it's only right to share my awesomeness at an institute of higher learning (and dog daycare.)

Along the way, I meet some very attractive classmates. The latest is Betty.

Betty is a 30-pound spayed female, about a year old, I'd say. She is said to be a Boston Terrier mix, although I just see beauty when I look into her eyes.

She had puppies at a young age. When they were all adopted out, she was the only one left and her time ran out, so she has been fostered at DePaw since September.

She arrived with a lot of missing fur, but she's been on a special Venison and Sweet Potato diet, and her fur is very soft and nice. She has wonderful eyes and a very sweet disposition.

She loves to play, does well in daycare and ranks high in academics. She is best buds with Bumble Bee! (Curse him. And more on him later.) She would not do well in a home with cats (Honestly, who would?), but she's playful and friendly with other dogs.

Side note: DePaw employees have taken the dogs home periodically—and especially during the holidays—to keep them acclimated to a home atmosphere and, of course, to spoil them!

Here are Betty's key stats:

  • Boston Terrier Mix?
  • Approx. 1 year old
  • Female/Spayed
  • Playful, good with other dogs and people
  • Very sweet and loving with such soulful eyes! Rescued from "death row" after her puppies were all adopted out.
