Here are today's must-know items in Geneva.
1. Flag Day commemorates the adoption of the nation's flag by the Second Continental Congress in 1777. In 1916, President Woodrow Wilson issued a proclamation claiming June 14 as Flag Day; in 1949 an act of Congress established National Flag Day.
2. Chicago Bear quarterback Caleb Hanie will be in Geneva today, as celebrates its grand opening in Geneva with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served until 8 p.m.
