Geneva on the Web: Geneva QB Matt Williams Signs with NIU

Why wait? Williams' senior year has a lot of potential in Geneva, and his NIU football career could be a Geneva homecoming.

is just a junior, but he's already committed to going to Northern Illinois University, the Kane County Chronicle reports.

Williams had some for the Vikings last season, and he'll join a bunch of on the NIU roster, including Frank Boenzi and Michael Santacaterina. It probably doesn't hurt that his in an NIU grad and former linebacker. (And there are a couple more you might have heard of from NIU.)
