Free Swing Band Concert By Musicians From Geneva's Sister City

Six members of the Rive Droite/Rive Gauche Swing Band are coming to Geneva on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

The Geneva International Cultural Exchange Committee invites the public to join them as they welcome their next cultural exchange with our sister city Croissy-sur-Seine, France. A delegation of 20 of which six are from the Rive Droite/Rive Gauche Swing Band will be coming to Geneva on Wednesday, Oct. 10.

At 10 a.m., there will be a presentation at the Geneva History Center, 113 S. Third St., then move on to the Geneva City Hall, 22 S. First St. for a look at the Pierre Rannaud painting and a meeting with Geneva Mayor Kevin Burns and other city officials.

At 7:30 p.m., Rive Droite/Rive Gauche Swing Band will be perform with the Geneva High School Jazz bands in the Geneva High School Auditorium, 416 McKinley St. This free, one-hour concert is open to the public so bring a friend. CD’s of Rive Droite/RiveGauche Swing Band will be available, for purchase at the end of that evening.
