DUI Roundup: Men From St. Charles, Bartlett Face Charges for Early AM Arrests

The following information was supplied by the Geneva Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Two DUI arrests were collected from Geneva police reports last week. Both involved traffic stops in the early-morning hours.

DUI Alcohol—Geneva police arrested Janet Gaytan, 51, of St. Charles on charges of DUI alcohol, driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving without lights when required after a traffic stop at around 1:38 a.m. April 15 at the intersection of 14th Street and Route 38, St. Charles, reports said.

DUI Alcohol—Geneva police arrested Eric Shoffe, 34, of Bartlett on charges of DUI Alcohol, DUI with a blood-alcohol content of .08 or more, speeding and improper lane use after a traffic stop around 12:59 a.m. April 7 in the 600 block of North Bennett Street, reports said.
