Be Careful—First Day of September Is Going to Be a Hot One

There's a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Thursday, Sept. 1, with temps as high as 95 degrees.

The thing of it is, already we're not used to it.

The heat, that is.

The temperature is supposed to get up to 95 degrees today, Thursday, Sept. 1, and the National Weather Service Chicago has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

Heat Indices will be around 100 degrees.

And it's supposed to be worse on Friday, with heat indices of 100 to 105. Which will make for an interesting football game night.
