I recently came across an article by Dr. Andrew Myers of Health is Wealth in Sam's club Family wellness-May/June2012 issue.
In that article Dr. Myers discusses PSA test for men and suggestions for heart disease, prostate, blood sugar, blood pressure. His suggestion for taking 900 mg(3 pills) per day of Omega3 makes a lot of sense. Those with high trigylcerides should consider this, but please know that EPA in fish oil is good, but DHA can raise LDL level. So please get tested to know how you are doing. Amarin Corp.is coming out with pure EPA in August if the FDA approves it. They are doing a major study costing $120 million$—REDUCE-IT—supervised by Dr. Bhatt of Harvard/Boston University to learn if this product really saves lives or affects coronary heart disease.
We have known that Lipitor is effective, but this study should help those with high tryglycerides.

So keep taking Omega-3 Pills and talk to your doctor and pharmacist to learn any side effects besides the smell. Enteric version does not smell.
