I Need To Stop!

Stop the doing and start being!

Today I've been all over the place in my head.  My preparing for my live event, talking to clients, answering emails, and all kinds of other stuff.  Because I'm so passionate about what I do, I can have a tendency to want to do it all because I get so excited with my new ideas with how to support others to create the life of their dreams.

And it's so ironic because I teach exactly what I need to learn over and over and over!  LOL! 

The good news is that I knew I needed to stop so I got on my yoga mat and practiced for 45 minutes.  Ahhhh!  I reminded myself to use my breath and to simply let go.  Why is it that something as easy as that is so darn difficult to do on a regular basis!

This is all about conditioning.  We have been programmed to be multitaskers, because the more we do, the more we are valued.  And how sad is that?  I know it's my job to help others undo this programming and give themselves permission to just be. 

And the reason I continue to teach this to others is because it's so dramatically changed my life.  I've never felt more fulfilled, excited, passionate and at peace with my life than ever.  And yes, I have days like today where I'm all over the place.  But my message to you is that YOU have the power to undo the mental and emotional conditioning that our society has taught us and today is the day to begin!  I can guarantee if you begin a regular, daily practice of quieting yourself, whether it be through meditation, yoga, or whatever works for you, not only will your life change but all those around you will change as well.

Today is the day!  Take 5 minutes from your day, find a space where you can find quiet and just focus on your breath.
