Please Write In 'Debbie Draus' for Geneva Township Clerk

Write-in Candidate for Geneva Township Clerk qualifications.

My name is Debbie Draus. I am a 21-year resident of Geneva, and I am asking for your support as a write-in candidate for the position of Geneva Township Clerk.

The main responsibilities of the township clerk are to prepare the agenda, take the minutes, record votes, post newspaper notices and be the custodian of township records.

This is a non-voting administrative position, NOT a political position. This job is not to effect policy, it is to record policy; and anyone looking to fill this position for a political reason is doing a disservice to the taxpayer.

For six years I worked in an administrative position for the Federal Bureau of Investigation in their Washington, D.C., and Chicago offices. For 14 years I held the position of Director of Operations for Fagans Graphic Design and Printing in Geneva, and I am currently vice president of Fagans Incorporated.

Regardless of who you vote for, please vote and let your voice be heard.
