The Paul Ruby Foundation has received a generous donation of Santa painting from artist Len Bielefeldt.

Just like Santa himself, Len Bielefeldt's painting, , will be making stops in Geneva delighting people of all ages. Taking a cue from Geneva’s many visitors, the painting will make its first stop at the at 15 S. River Lane.

Visitors can relax in the lobby and enjoy the beauty of the painting and can also participate in a silent auction to give the painting a permanent home. The silent auction will begin on Nov. 4 and is open to all. Santa will go home with the highest bidder at auction close 8:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the , at 514 W. State St., Geneva.

Santa of the Heart’s artist, Len Bielefeldt, is well known for his portrait paintings.  Bielefeldt’s philosophy is that “each subject tells my heart the medium to use, the size, the style, the colors, and I allow my brushes to follow.” That must have been the process for this painting; it is so lifelike it gives the viewer the feeling that Santa himself was the artist’s model.
