The Chicago Bears are
sticking with quarterback Jay Cutler, announcing Thursday that the team signed
him to a seven-year deal.
The Bears’ management called Cutler a “quarterback we can win with,” according to the Chicago Tribune.
While the team did not release the financial terms of the deal, FoxSports.com reports Cutler would earn $18 million in the first three years of the contract.
Is this a good deal for the Bears? Do you think it will affect the team’s ability to rebuild its defense, which some say fell apart this season? Share your thought in the comments below or on Facebook.
