St. Charles Gears Up for Scarecrow Fest
Canopies and scarecrows are popping up around downtown St. Charles!
There is a change in the air, and that change is more than just the cooler weather and the fall colors painting the trees.
Canopies and scarecrows began popping up around St. Charles on Thursday as preparations kicked into the final stages to set up for Scarecrow Fest, the annual three-day celebration that draws tens of thousands of people to downtown St. Charles.
The scarecrows range from the fairly traditional to whimsical, offering an eclectic mix for those intending to stroll around viewing the creations scattered among a mix of activities and that will get under way Friday.
