Geneva's Spectacular Christmas Walk Weekend Friday Through Sunday!

If you've never attended a Christmas Walk in downtown Geneva, you've got to go. It is the best way to get into the holiday spirit—from chestnuts roasting on an open fire to crazy deals to wonderful friends. Here's the schedule!

It's a cliche, yes, but Christmas Walk in Geneva has never been better, and it tips off a 6 p.m. Friday in downtown Geneva.

This truly is the must-see holiday event of the season. Great deals, stores full of clever, unique gifts, there are literally chestnuts roasting on open fires, the lighting of the Christmas tree, crowning of Santa Lucia, an attempt at the carolers galore, actual live mannequins in the store window, carriage rides—wow. It's awesome.

Then there's the House Tour and Steeple Walk on top of all that.

We live in the town that is right out of a storybook. Historic buildings and architecture, a scenic river, stores you just don't see anywhere else because they're one-of-a-kind, from the All Chocolate Kitchen to The Little Traveler to Graham's and all the rest. Destination stores that other towns dream about.

Why not enjoy all Geneva has to offer?

I went down to the Christmas walk tonight.
After all the teeth-gnashing of school boards, teacher's unions and property taxes and telling myself that I need to formulate an escape plan ASAP....I have to say I was really proud to see people from all over enjoying our unique community. I feel fortunate to call Geneva home...it truly is a special place.

Martina, were you upset when Cheney and Bush implemented the NSA programs? The real estate isRead More booming in CA, last time I checked it was a BLUE state. Fracking, oil, and shale are booming in RED states, so is that a good thing? Not really, I would like to get off of all fossil fuels.
