Shodeen Opens New Neighborhoods in Mill Creek

New floor plans rolled out in the older neighborhoods, as well.

Big changes are underway at Mill Creek, the master-planned, golf course community in Geneva, where Shodeen Residential is rolling out fresh single-family home designs and opening new neighborhoods to provide homebuyers with a greater variety of choices.

In addition to its Oakmont and Tanna neighborhoods, Mill Creek recently opened its third and fourth active neighborhoods: Pinehurst and Hillcrest/Inverness/Jordan.

Pinehurst features five home styles (including a ranch), each offering two to three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and 1,998 to 3,315 square feet—ranging in base price from $274,100 to $416,000 (all prices subject to change without notice).

At Oakmont, five new floorplans have been introduced (one of which is a ranch), each providing four bedrooms, two-and-a-half or three-and-half baths, and 2,380 to 3,390 square feet base priced from $346,400 to $412,300. Buyers can also choose from six new designs at Tanna, all including three to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and 2,020 to 2,807 square feet—with base prices spanning $259,900 to $342,900.

Among the standard inclusions on all new designs at Tanna, Oakmont and Pinehurst are framed and insulated full basements, granite countertops, stainless steel Energy Star appliances, custom cabinetry, ceramic tile in kitchens, bathrooms and foyers, oak rails, brushed nickel door hardware, a fireplace in the family room, 92 percent efficient furnace and energy efficient water heater and more.

New Homes

Additionally, Shodeen is now offering new homes again with three previously closed-out neighborhoods: Hillcrest, Inverness, and Jordan—some of the largest in all of Mill Creek—on which a semi-custom single-family residence can be built, sized up to 3,390 square feet and base priced between $439,500 to $495,300. These homes will be appointed with many luxury features, such as a three-car garage, brick exterior, granite countertops, custom cabinets, stainless steel Energy Star appliances, high-efficiency furnaces and water heaters, and much more.

This also includes six-panel solid core doors, upgraded trim package, all oak wood staircases, architectural style shingles on the roof, and choice of ceramic tile or hardwood in foyers and kitchens and ceramic tile in all baths.

Move-in Ready Homes

Home hunters eager to settle in soon can now select from ten move-in-ready delivery homes at Mill Creek, as well as six others that are under construction and ready for occupancy within the next few months. Available within Tanna, Oakmont and Pinehurst, these move-in ready residences range from 2,300 to 3,420 square feet and are priced between $347,000 to $523,300.

In addition, Mill Creek offers many promotional incentives on select homes for a limited time. Incentives can range from a free finished basement to a generous landscaping package. For full details and restrictions consult a Shodeen Residential sales professional.

Quotable

“Aside from the fact that it's a great time to purchase a home right now due to historically low interest rates and home values at levels we haven't seen in a decade, Mill Creek is now offering more features and more home for less money,” said Nathan Amidon, sales professional with Shodeen Residential. “Shodeen has launched a fresh new look to the floorplans and features we are offering. Our new styles include what people truly want in their homes yet still provide the ability for personalization.”

Amidon noted that there are many new and exciting opportunities for home buyers to experience at Mill Creek.

“What might be most surprising is the wide range of home styles, features and home sites that are available,” he said. “If you've dreamed of living on a golf course, we have home sites that overlook fairways and greens. If you favor the serenity and privacy of open space, you can accomplish that on a variety of home sites as well. Shodeen has truly managed to create something that caters to a lifestyle that is now more affordable than ever.”

Wow this is great news! Does anyone know how many lots they are developing? What elementary school will these kids attend? Fabyan or mill creek? I hope they do well I'm tempted to check out some of the models as our home is so dated. but then again my wife just reminded me that I love our vintage Westway two story colonial with an attached garage wrapped in vinyl fixer upper. We raised our family in a Shodeen home for 21 years. Then Shodeen did our renovation on the older home project we undertook this Spring. The Shodeen team made this project so much less stressful, and we love the way it turned out! Creativity, flexibility, commitment to their customer and quality are just a few things to expect from Shodeen Custom Homes.
