Pure Barre, billed as the most effective way for women to change the shape of their bodies, will be opening its newest location in Geneva.
The new franchise studio, located at 500 S. Third Street, Suite 123, is owned by Brynn Hanson, a lifelong Geneva resident and 2005 graduate of Geneva High School, and is expected to open in November.
“I couldn’t be more excited to bring Pure Barre to my hometown,” said Brynn. “The moment I took my first class I knew I needed to bring this workout and way of life to Geneva. I am most looking forward to seeing women’s bodies and confidence shift, as well as their attitude toward exercising and taking care of themselves.”
The ballet barre workout has exploded in popularity since its inception in 2001. Focusing on the areas of the body women struggle with the most, Pure Barre lifts the seat, tones the thighs and upper body, and creates the long and lean muscles of a dancer through small isometric movements centered around a ballet barre.
Since it began franchising in 2009, more than 150 Pure Barre studios have opened nationwide.
“We are thrilled to open our newest location in Geneva, IL, and bring the excitement and results of Pure Barre to its residents,” said Carrie Dorr, Founder & Chief Concept Officer of Pure Barre. “The continued growth of Pure Barre studios across the country is a testament to the workout’s ability to quickly transform women’s bodies, and we couldn’t be happier to bring this experience to Geneva.”
