Patch Picks: 5 Summer Camps You Should Check Out Now!

Geneva has some great options for kids this summer to do something constructive with their free time—or just have some fun.

Patch found five camps to erase boredom, and make sure there's nothing lazy about summer vacation this year. Camps tend to fill up fast, so please make sure to get applications filled out, and payments in on time, in order to ensure there are spaces still available.

has summer camp programs for all ages that will keep children active with field trips and other various outings and activities. There is a counselor in training (CIT) camp for younger teens, and many specialty camps to engage and educate kids all summer long.

is offering summer camp this year focusing on education and fun. Campers will find something to interest them, with programs such as Passport Around the World, which introduces children to the cultures of different countries, and The Great Outdoors, where kids can get a real summer camp experience without leaving home.

is keeping things creative this summer for girls (little brothers are welcome, too). Monday through Thursday, campers can enjoy crafts, dance parties, snacks, and a whole lot of fun; all while mom gets to run errands or spend some time relaxing.

will be educating children this summer with “Risk Watch,” a day-camp program teaching kids how to be safe and prevent injuries. Fun activities will be used to show kids how to stay safe, and keep cool, calm, and collected, during an emergency.

offers a 12-week summer camp program for ages 3 to 12. Whether your child is interested in science, cooking, art, or sports; there’s something for everybody to keep busy this summer.
