Antiques Store Moving Into Erday's Spot

America's Treasures is expected to fill the vacancy of the former Erday's clothiers in the Erday's Building on North Third Street.

As you can see by the sign in the window, pictured here, America's Treasures sells antiques, furniture and gifts. At this time, the opening date is unknown.

The 10 N. Third Street address is a wonderful location in the heart of downtown Geneva, of course. According to LoopNet, the 47-foot storefront has "classic front retail sales space of 4,500 square feet along with back service space of 1,300 square feet used for shipping, receiving and tailor area" as well as a basement.

In one of the comments on a previous Patch article, What Would You Like To See In The Former Erday's Store?, one commenter was either a great prognosticator, had an inside scoop or planted the seed for what was to come.

"I was hoping for America's Treasures, Antiques since the building in Geneva that their in now is being sold and they have to re-locate, I'm hoping they stay close to our area," said camk5466.

America's Treasures, Antiques, Furniture and Gifts, owned by Dagmar and Harold McGowan, was located at 34 Bennett (Route 25) in Geneva.
