More Good News for Geneva's FONA International

FONA International is named one of Chicago's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For and earns Elite Award for Employee Achievement and Recognition.

FONA International, creator and manufacturer of complete flavor solutions for some of the world’s leading food, beverage, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical companies, was named one of Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR) for the seventh year in a row. FONA also took home the Elite Award for Employee Achievement and Recognition for the many ways FONA rewards and recognizes employee and team achievements.

The 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For award honors companies that recognize employees as their greatest asset. Companies are evaluated in the areas of communication, community initiatives, compensation and benefits, diversity and multi-culturalism, employee education and development, employee engagement and commitment, recognition and retention, recruitment and selection, and work-life balance.

NABR President Jennifer Kluge says of the Elite Awards, “It takes dedication and a strong commitment to one's employees to be named an Elite Winner. This year's recipients keep innovative human resource initiatives at the forefront and make it a priority to consider their workforce as an essential aspect in their company success.”

The NABR explains that winning companies in the 101 Best and Brightest competition work with imagination and conviction to create organizational value and business results through their policies and best practices in human resource management. Winners are selected by an independent market research company, which reviews an extensive amount of quantitative and qualitative data, and an independent panel of judges. As part of the process, employees at each nominated company are randomly selected to complete a confidential survey about their work environment.
