Geneva Spa Owner Opens French Apparel Boutique on Third Street

After seven years of serving a distinct community ofserenity dwellers with her day spa, Beauté by Sylvie owner Sylvie Baumann naturally started toenvision a head to toe shop for styling sophisticated women in the Chicagoland area. A boutique offering personally hand-picked French garments and accessories, C’est La Vie by Sylvie took shape and officially opened on Aug. 9, 2012.

“My clients are an eclectic group of inspirational, beautiful and stylish women,” states SylvieBaumann. “I wanted to offer women the complete picture. Beauty, inside and out.”

Conveniently connected to Beauté by Sylvie, Sylvie’s plan to care for the “whole woman” is complemented by the collection of elegant French apparel and chic accessories positioned at C’est La Vie by Sylvie on Third Street.
Offering a variety of international cosmetic options, Sylvie and her team of beauty experts provide bridal style and makeup consultation, threading, spray tanning, homeopathic remedy products and makeup application lessons.

“I want to give the women of the Chicago suburbs an opportunity to redefine their look,”explains Ms. Baumann. “There are wonderful fashion options in the Fox Valley and I am pleased to offer my own personal approach to styling women.”

Customers can expect an overall focus of enhancing inner beauty and refining outer elegance, according to Baumann.

“I found Sylvie literally tucked away in a corner of Geneva and was immediately impressed byher ability to whisk me away from my hectic life and invite me to truly unwind,” said Cheryl Conro of Geneva.

“I continue to visit Beauté because when I leave, I am relaxed and replenished. When Sylvie started introducing accessories to her shop, I saw a fashion niche that was finally being filled in Geneva.
