Geneva Downtown Starbucks Getting Interior Facelift; Will Reopen Aug. 29

Geneva's downtown Starbucks at State and Third streets is getting an interior makeover and will reopen by Aug. 29.

If you're a regular patron of and couldn't get your early-morning beverage pick-me-up the past couple of days, take heart: The interior remodelling is moving quickly, and the store is expected to reopen Wednesday, Aug. 29.

"It's all sorts of really neat changes," said store manager Jason Ober.

The interior redesign is likely to double the amount of seating, which is great news for those of us who enjoy a good Komodo Dragon every now and again. It will also have more electric outlets, which is more good news for those of us who like to work from coffee shops.
