Geneva Commons Announces Summertime Concert Series
The lineup is in for free summer concerts every Wednesday and Sunday night in June at the popular shopping center on Randall Road.
The lineup has been named for the 11th Annual Geneva Commons Summer Concert Series, which kicks off Wednesday night, June 5.
The free outdoor concerts will continue each Wednesday and Sunday evening through June 30 in the shopping center’s courtyard between Houlihan's and Bar Louie. Concerts will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, and 5 p.m. on Sundays. Everyone is welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
This year, the first 100 attendees at each concert will receive a free insulated beverage and snack tote.

Wednesday, June 5 – WILD DAISY (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) Led by energetic singer Krissi Woods, this band plays current country hits, as well as some classics and rock/pop.
Sunday, June 9 – 7th HEAVEN (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.) performs dead-on renditions of Def Leppard, The Beatles, Journey and U2, at a frenetic pace.
Wednesday., June 12 – HIFI SUPERSTAR (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) delivers a combination of crunchy power pop and melodic rock, with occasional infusions of R&B groove.
Sunday, June 16 – RED WOODY (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.) is a cover band dedicated to presenting favorite tunes from the ‘70s, ‘80s, ‘90s, and today, including hits from Bryan Adams, AC/DC, Counting Crows, Kid Rock, Poison, and many more artists.
Wednesday, June 19 – PIPE DREAM (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) performs the gamut, from classic rock and modern pop hits to country.
Sunday, June 23 – HI-INFIDELITY (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.) is an award-winning ‘80s cover band of classic rock at its best, including Bon Jovi, REO Speedwagon and more, plus some originals mixed in.
Wednesday, June 26 – LINCOLN DON’T LIE (6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) celebrates some of today’s great country music and adds a new twang to some great alternative hits.
Sunday, June 30 – MAGGIE SPEAKS (5 p.m. - 7 p.m.) covers music from the ‘60s through today, delivering a show that has no musical limits, including rock, pop, Top 40 and more.
Concertgoers can also take advantage of the wide variety of eateries throughout Geneva Commons before or after the concerts, including Bar Louie, California Pizza Kitchen, Claddagh Irish Pub, Corner Bakery Café, Five Guys Burgers & Fries, Fresh D’Lite Grill, Houlihan's, Jamba Juice, Noodles & Company, Potbelly Sandwich Works, Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Starbucks and Yogen Früz.
Sidewalk Sale
Also planned is the Sizzlin’ Summer Sidewalk Sales, on the last weekend of the concert series, Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30. Featured are special sales both on the sidewalks and inside many Geneva Commons stores.
Geneva Commons is home to 70 stores and restaurants, and is located at 602 Commons Drive in Geneva, Ill. Shopping hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sundays 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (some store hours vary).
