Floral Wonders Named Best Florist in Tri-Cities!

Enthusiastic voters from Geneva, Batavia and St. Charles Patch sites selected you as the .

The voting was neck and neck for the five finalists whose stems made the cut. A surge in voting at the finish line made Floral Wonders the winner among the five Best Florists in our final poll.

Floral Wonders, located at 310 Campbell St. in Geneva, collected 73 total points—61 votes in our poll plus four comments by the deadline of noon Monday. Each comment counted 3 points to 1 point per poll vote. Here are the comments:

"Floral Wonders is the best florist because of the very unique, fresh and creative arrangements. Not your grocery store bundle!" said Beth.

"At Floral Wonders you can expect everything but the ordinary!!" said Dody Carlson.

Floral Wonders is about 2 years old. It's located on Campbell Street just a few doors west of Third Street across from the courthouse in Geneva.

The owner is Eva Kamieniak, and she was very busy, as you might expect, on Valentine's Day. How does it feel to be named best florist?

"We're very glad that people appreciate our work, because we work hard and we're very creative," Kamieniak said.

What separates your business from others?

"Creativity, and I do think that we're different," she added. "I try not to do things that other people do. It's hard for me to do two arrangements that are the same. I'm just too creative, and I make every one a little bit different."
