Bites Nearby: Chianti's Has Standout Italian Food
Classic Italian flavors and exciting Geneva atmosphere come together at Chianti's.
For more than 20 years, Chianti's has been serving deliciously simple Italian recipes. Located in the heart of Geneva's historic downtown district, the restaurant's outdoor seating and large glass windows make it a local favorite for atmosphere as well as standout Italian food.
Appetizers
Chianti's appetizer menu showcases the usual Italian favorites, such as Bruschetta ($5.95) and Fried Calamari ($8.95), but the Cheese Mushrooms ($6.95) really shine as a starter option. The chef starts with mushroom caps and fills them with a cream-cheese ham mixture; the mushrooms are then topped with mozzarella cheese and baked.

The Crab Meat Pasta Salad ($8.95) is a good option on their Insalte menu. It is made with Chanti's tender crab-meat mixture, pasta, cucumbers, and tomatoes; then tossed in a special dressing atop salad greens.

Refills are free on soft drinks ($2.25) and there is a decently priced wine and beer list.
Entrees
Entree selections are served with a Chianti house salad and bread. Portions can usually be served in the smaller lunch size during dinner as well.
The Sausalito Fettucine ($10.95/$15.95) is a definite twist on Chianti's classic Italian menu. Medium shrimp and crab are mixed together then sauteed with almonds, walnuts, and pecans. It is served over tri-colored fettucine and Chianti's classic alfredo sauce. Of course, you can't go wrong with standards like Spaghetti and Meatballs ($9.95/$13.95) or Eggplant Parmesan ($8.95/$13.95); both dishes are hearty portions of Italian-American comfort food.
Chanti's also has a grill menu featuring a 12-ounce Delmonico Rib Eye ($12.95), which is served with Chianti glazed mushrooms and a side of pasta. Their fish options include a Parmesan breaded Halibut ($15.95), which is served on tri-color fettucine in garlic butter.
