Weekend of fun and fund-raising supports historic preservation in the Tri-Cities.

Treasures of the Tri-Cities 2011: Limestone Landmarks
Looking for a unique weekend event in September? Love architecture and history? will host its annual Treasures of the Tri-Cities event Sept. 17-18, featuring historic limestone buildings. Absorb and celebrate local architecture and history by attending one of these spectacular events on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 17-18. Events are listed below. Come to one or all three events of this special celebration.

Saturday, Sept. 17
Coach Bus Tour 1-4 p.m. — $30 per person
Enjoy comfy accommodations as you take a guided tour by coach bus to view more than 30 river stone buildings in the Tri-Cities. This tour is a great introduction to the history and architecture of these one of a kind buildings.

Celebration Fundraiser 4:30-6:30 p.m. — $25 per person
Join local supporters of historic preservation, the Keating family, as they host a wine and cheese celebration at their stunning limestone estate. Savor wonderful wine in the relaxing atmosphere of the coach house and extensive gardens of the former Henry Fargo homestead.
Sunday, Sept. 18
Cottage Tour
Tour the inside of five charming river stone cottages that have been beautifully adapted for contemporary living. Get an in-depth look at the craftsmanship and unique history of these homes, thanks to knowledgeable docents.
An all-inclusive weekend package goes for $65 per person.
