St. Peter Women's Club hosts annual shopping night social

Join the women of St. Peter Church in Geneva for a Girls Night Out on Friday, November 5, at 7 p.m., in the church's multipurpose room, 1891 Kaneville Road in Geneva.
"Sip, Shop & Socialize," sponsored by the St. Peter Women's Club, will feature raffles, refreshments, and displays of more than 35 vendors. Vendor products include jewelry, cosmetics, home decorations, crafts, purses, baby items, gourmet foods, photography, pottery, rosaries, candles, books by a local author, murals, accessories, skin care, and more.
Local businesses, participating vendors, and Women's Club guilds have donated items for basket raffles. Wine, cheese, coffee and desserts will be served. The Women's Club also is selling tickets for a 50/50 Raffle after masses the weekend of October 30/31 and at the event. The winner of the 50/50 raffle need not be present.
The St. Peter Women's Club is comprised of seven guilds which serve the parish in various ways, including assisting with baptisms and weddings, short-term meal assistance, hostessing Donut Sundays and parish events, and organizing the annual Nativity Set display,  Sip, Shop & Socialize, and other events.
Proceeds from the event will support the Women's Club guilds and the club's Women's Mite Fund which assists parishioners in need.
